The holidays are just around the corner. Every year GOALcfl hosts a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help members in the community who may be struggling during the holiday season.
I’m happy to announce that GOALcfl will be doing it again this Thanksgiving. We are hoping to create (40) Thanksgiving food baskets that will benefit the OWL program at the LGBTQ+ Center Orlando. This program focuses on Older, Wiser, Learning, for members of the LGBTQ+ community who are 55 and older. If everyone pitches in a little we can make this a successful event.
We will need you to bring the items you are willing to donate to our next GOALcfl meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. The meeting will be at our normal location (2220 Edgewater Drive, Communications Workers of America). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the meeting starts at 6:30 pm. If you wish to donate and cannot make the in-person meeting, please email President@goalcfl.org and CC Prmanager@goalcfl.org and we will have someone pick the items up from you. We will be making the donation to the LGBTQ+ Center Orlando on Monday, November 21, 2022. The time is to be determined; however, watch your email and our social media platforms for more information on donation day.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of your Board of Directors. Thanks for all you do and thanks for supporting this community engagement event. Click on the link below to sign up:

The Board of Directors are always looking for GOALcfl members caught in the spotlight helping serve the community and our GOALcfl organization!
Each quarter, members will be announced in the membership spotlight announcement! GOALcfl would like to announce Evalyn and Audrey Casper as our September 2022 GOALcfl spotlights.
Evalyn and Audrey met through working together at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center in 2015. It was an instant connection! They got married in 2020 in Atlanta in their friend’s backyard due to COVID; however, had a formal wedding in December 2021.
Evalyn joined GOALcfl in 2020 and Audrey joined in 2022. GOALcfl is very important to them because it gives them the chance to show representation in the LGBTQ+ community while serving in law enforcement. They enjoy the opportunities to interact with the LGBTQ+ community at various events and network with members representing various agencies in the Central Florida area.
You will always find them attending our monthly GOALcfl meetings and representing our organization at community events.
Evalyn and Audrey, thank you for all you do for your agency, GOALcfl and the community you serve. For all of these reasons and many more, we recognize you in our September 2022 Membership Spotlight!
